Internship (PRHO equivalent) (2002-2003): Internship successfully completed (after taking additional state examinations, “Excellent” grades and distinction) in the university hospitals of Bratislava, Slovakia. (3 months posts in Paediatrics, Gynaecology, Surgery and Medicine).

Clinical Assistant (2004):
Clinically attached to the Surgery Department of Middlesex Hospital (UCLH):
Great opportunity for being introduced to the British medical system along with the opportunity to assisting in colorectal and emergency operations. Collaboration with experienced surgeons of the department in carrying out  clinical research. Developing valuable experience as an active surgical assistant as well as a member of a Hospital-at-night team.

Resident Surgical Officer (RSO) (2004 – 2005) Middlesex Hospital, London. Hospital-at-night team (H@N). I was the  RSO of Middlesex Hospital being appointed seven nightshifts per month (1 in 5 rota). The H@N team consists of an ITU Registrar, a Medical SHO, a Surgical SHO (RSO), a PERT nurse (Patient Emergency Response Team), up to three night nurse practitioners and an administration worker.
