Junior Secretary of the Hellenic Medical Society – UK (HMS) ( 2004 – 2005) I have been elected as a member of the committee of the HMS and as a Junior Secretary. I have been involved in some administrational work; Namely, organising events and contacting other medical societies in UK.

Future academic and professional aspirations

Developing my professional knowledge, skills and practice by working in a stimulating and rich in expertise professional and academic environment. Acquiring some – both autonomous and cooperative – professional experience as a Surgeon in a University Hospital.

Non academic achievements

a. Very familiar and an enthusiastic user of the professional and learning tools of Modern Technology. Using the, so called, office and data handling software type (for example word processors, database and spreadsheets, paint, visual graphics, photo/picture/animation processing and many more) and exploiting most of the Web Technology educational and communicative benefits, developing my own sites as well as the sites of my friends to a professional level, are part of my technological alphabetism/literacy skillsb. Received musical education/training, especially in playing the clarinet and the saxophone.

b. Good at organizing social events and dance parties

c. Many interests of a social and humanitarian character

d. Love skiing (as a solitary sport) and sailing (as a cooperative one). Both are an expression of my love for nature.

e. Keen on reading, cooking as well as on some “Do it yourself” constructions.
